The Girl Dormitory is a residence for female students and
a number of staff members. The girls are from different places and states in Mandalay. Most of the
girls are poor and their parents are unable to pay for their education in their
township or village. As a result, they attend PDO High School.
The staff members that live in the Girl Dormitory are able to perform their
tasks whenever necessary. The girls and staff members prepare their own meals,
but PDO High School supplies the rice. In total,
around 150 girls live in the dormitory.
