Boy Dormitory
The Boy Dormitory is a residence for male students
from different places and states in Mandalay.
Most of them stay at the dormitory novices to study modern education at PDO High
School. There are a total of about 700 boys in the
dormitory. This new dormitory was donated by the German association ‘Foerderverein
Myanmar’
and was built in 2009. Every room is shared between 40 novices. PDO High
School does not have to provide these novices
with food. Every morning, the novices collect their food in the city. Every
evening all the novices assemble for instructions and school cleaning.
